Parasites feed at the expense of another organism over a long period of time. As a consequence of a specific way of life, parasites appear through adaptations that are reflected in the fact that some organs stunt or disappear, while others develop at their expense. Parasitic architecture is defined as a new building attached to an existing structure. It developed in response to the need to solve city problems, such as lack of space and high rents.
adherence / inheritance
This is the scenario of the greatest interest for the entanglement and separation of parasites. Adherence follows from separation from origin, and inheritance appears without warning in any operation of joining, adaptation, grafting, superposition. Together, they bring into crisis the model that sustains them, which means that the previous model is dead, but not the successor. Commensalism is a form of ecological interactions between species that have a positive effect on one species, while there are no positive or negative consequences of the interaction on the other species. In the project, commensalism is distinguished in the relationship between parasites and existing morphology.
High Tech has been a development of British modernist architecture since the late 1960s. It was a design concept, based on engineering, construction and other aspects, such as space manipulation. High technology was marked by a tendency to light materials and transparent surfaces, readiness to adopt new techniques from engineering and other technologies.

The subject of this paper is the transformation of objects, which is changed by the logic of micro and macro interventions. This transformation implies the implementation of specific interventions at key points, in order to restore energy to individual buildings. Interventions are reduced, sustainable, able to integrate with existing ones, overlapping and suggesting new possibilities that were not previously considered by the built reality.
Possibility of reconfiguration of the structure by coils or parasites. Architectural recycling is the process of modifying an existing building using all of its available and usable materials, suitable for assigning a new function. The concept of recycling implies the notion of change using existing elements. So, the original building was changed to adapt to the new function. However, most of the materials of the original buildings are used, which offer numerous advantages, such as increasing the lifespan of the building and the profitability of already applied resources.
"The parasite is a differential operator of change. It excites the state of the system: its state of equilibrium, the present state of its exchanges and circulations, the balance of its development, its thermal state, its information state ... "
"The parasitic organism differs from the host both formally and spatially, but it is connected to that by need (soil, plants, meanings, etc.). With the intrusion of new architecture into the existing one, it appears as a possible model of urban growth, and as a solution it requires the improvement of the properties of the building ... "
"The modern use of the term 'parasitic architecture' refers to a wide range of small architectural 'additions' to existing buildings. Legally and illegally, temporarily and permanently, they all expand the scope of their hosts, and sometimes develop their functions. "
